Why the Ledger exists
The Ledger grew out of a desire to follow allegations of corruption beyond the initial headline. A report, a denial, a court filing and a later outcome can appear months apart, scattered across different sources. This project brings those pieces together in one place.
Its focus includes alleged conflicts of interest, public spending, financial relationships, ethics complaints and legal proceedings involving Trump and his network. Each file identifies what is documented, what is disputed, the available response and the outcome recorded in the cited sources.
A record you can check
The links matter as much as the summary. Readers can open the original reporting and available primary records, distinguish an allegation from a finding, and see when the sources were reviewed. Dismissals, acquittals, denials and reversals remain part of the story.

What you will find here
- News briefs summarize dated developments with links to the reporting and available responses.
- All Eyes on Trump separates public plans, confirmed appearances and reported developments.
- Case files organize the background, money involved, chronology and recorded outcomes.
- People and topics connect related coverage. A connection alone is not evidence of wrongdoing.
Behind the publication
The Inner Circle Ledger is independently owned. One editor and publisher runs it and reviews every entry before publication.
The publication's methods, sources and coverage limits are available for readers to assess.
The Ledger compiles linked reporting and public records; it does not claim interviews or original investigations it has not performed. Coverage is non-exhaustive, and later developments may not yet be reflected in every file.
Free to read
Articles and case files are freely available. Optional reader contributions support the publication, with display advertising to follow once Google approves the site; there are no outside investors. Advertising and contributions do not buy changes to coverage or case outcomes. See ownership and funding and our perspective. Advertising information and privacy details explain the site's current arrangements.

Corrections policy
The Ledger corrects errors of fact promptly and notes the correction on the affected page with the date. A correction request should identify the page, the specific disputed statement and a supporting record. Anyone named in an entry may submit a response, and a substantive response is added to the entry alongside the original sourcing.
