RESPONSE
Asked about Trump Plaza and its other foreign projects, the Trump Organization told AP it had done no deals with governments so far, noting that the Saudi company was private. Asked whether the Riyadh project broke its pledge not to strike deals with foreign governments, it said it does not “conduct business with any government entity” but did not address that project specifically.
Correction. An earlier version quoted the Trump Organization as saying it does not “conduct business with any government entity” and did not address the project. Asked by the Associated Press about Trump Plaza and its other foreign projects, the company said it had done no deals with governments so far, and noted that the Saudi company involved is private. Corrected September 18, 2026. Note added September 23, 2026.
