RESPONSE
The proclamation granting the clemency said it “ends a grave national injustice” and “begins a process of national reconciliation.”
Correction. An earlier version said Enrique Tarrio’s sentence was commuted. He received a full pardon; Stewart Rhodes’s sentence was commuted. Corrected September 18, 2026.
